Valerie Graham

Raised in New England, Valerie Attended Rhode Island School of Design as a college student and fell in love with moving Metal. She received a BFA in Crafts from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia in 2000. Following her time in Japan as a military spouse, Valerie received her MA in Education and taught high school art. After moving to Portland in 2014, she enrolled in the Portland Jewelry Academy to learn new skills before launching her Cloud Collection in 2018.
Tiny Desk Designs Jewelry showcases the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. She draws inspiration from the textures of the lush forests, the pebbly coastal shores, and even the abundant rain clouds. Using traditional techniques, precious metals and gemstones, she captures the beauty of place in a wearable piece of art.
