Lynn Rosskamp

PRINTMAKING

Lynn Rosskamp is a Seattle-based printmaker specializing in traditional copper plate etchings, with an emphasis on chine collé. She was raised in a veterinary family and animals were from the start her constant companions and now, her muses for her art. She has shown in multiple galleries around the Pacific Northwest, most recently at Lan Su Chinese Garden's Art in the Garden program in Portland, and has an upcoming solo show at Ghost Gallery in Seattle this fall. She is a member of Sugarwall Gallery, one of the artist co-ops housed in Seattle's historic Greenwood Arts Collective. She is also an instructor of chine collé printing at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle and a former docent at the Frye Art Museum. She holds a BA in Studio Art/Art History from Reed College.

Lynn specializes in copper plate etching with aquatint and chine collé, all hand inked and printed in traditional fashion with an etching press.
