The Wild Arts Festival Book Fair welcomes Craig Hill, co-author with Matt Wastradowski of Moon Pacific Northwest Hiking: Best Hikes Plus Beer, Bites, and Campgrounds Nearby. This popular guidebook features hikes in Oregon and Washington for all experience levels and is filled with expert advice, maps, directions, planning tips, hikes for specific outdoor experiences and seasons, and places to stop for a bite to eat, a cold beer, or a place to camp. Growing up in Washington, Craig spent much of his youth exploring the outdoors. After a successful career as a national award-winning sportswriter, Craig returned to his love of outdoor adventure to write for The News Tribune in Tacoma. He was honored by the National Park Service for reporting related to Mount Rainier National Park. Craig is also the author of Moon Washington Hiking - Best Hikes Plus Beer, Bites, and Campgrounds Nearby. You can meet Craig and his co-author, Matt, on December 7th.
