Audubon Story Time is held in the Portland Audubon interpretive center the third Sunday of each month at 1 p.m.

With Your Paw in Mine

Come enjoy a children’s story in our interpretive center, performed by Audubon volunteers. This month we'll read about Miki, an otter pup, who finds comfort in snuggling with her mama and holding her paws. One day while Mama is out gathering food, Miki meets another otter pup named Amak, and the two become best friends.

Then one day, a terrible storm rages in the ocean, and Miki and Amak hold each other’s paws tightly. Will it be enough to keep them safe?

Story Time begins at 1 p.m.; with a matching craft or nature activity to follow. Children ages 4-8 and their adults are encouraged to drop by!  Call us at the Nature Store if you have questions.
