Falcons in the City

Join us for Kid's Story Time, a read-aloud geared towards kids aged 3-6 (although all are welcome). Each month we pick a nature-themed picture book to read, followed by a fun activity that ties into the story. This event is free to attend.

On November 18, we'll read Falcons in the City with special guest and author Lisa Manning! Follow the story of a Peregrine Falcon family as they make their home on the bridges of Portland, and how they navigate human-falcon interactions. After reading this story, you’ll want to look for Peregrine Falcons on all of Portland’s bridges!

Story Time begins at 1 PM; with a matching craft or nature activity to follow. Children ages 4-8 and their parents are encouraged to drop by!  Call us at the Nature Store if you have questions.

Book: Falcons in the City, written and illustrated by Lisa C. Manning
