This past summer’s fire in the Columbia Gorge threatened homes, communities, and our favorite hiking trails, but it’s important to remember that wildfires also play an important role in restoring and maintaining our forests.

A coalition of conservation and environmental groups are hosting a series of public forums to share information on the Eagle Creek fire in the Gorge and answer the most pressing questions going forward.

Join us for a discussion about the natural role wildfires play in the Pacific Northwest, and come learn more from experts on how the Gorge will recover from the Eagle Creek fire.

Hosted by: Audubon Society of Portland, Bark, Friends of the Columbia Gorge, Oregon Wild, CRAG, Oregon Sierra Club.
